Woman, 18, Struck By Car On Route 2 Dies . A woman trying to cross Route 2 was fatally struck by a car near Annapolis Friday night, fire officials told WBAL-TV 11 News. She was struck just after 9:30 p.m. on Route 2/Solomons Island Road at West Street, fire officials said. County police said the woman crossed into the path of two oncoming vehicles.
Police: Man Pointed Loaded Gun At Officer . An Anne Arundel County man faces assault charges after he allegedly pointed a loaded shotgun at a police officer. Investigators said officers responded to the 600 block of Belle Dora Court in Arnold for reports of a neighbor dispute on Thursday. Witnesses said the suspect, 48-year-old William Neall, had been acting erratically, banging on doors and screaming profanities.
