Local Verizon Store Upgraded

Annapolis Mayor Joshua J. Cohen and Annapolis Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Lara Fritts were at the Wireless Zone Annapolis store last week for a ribbon cutting to celebrate a recent status upgrade.

“Its speaks volumes that, even in today’s economy, Verun and Vani have been able to not only weather this tough economy, but are now upgrading their store on Main Street,” Mayor Cohen said. “Verun and Vani’s personalized service and customer loyalty are emblematic of the many locally owned businesses that add to Annapolis’ enduring appeal.”

The store, located at 211 Main Street in Annapoliswas upgraded to the Premium Retailer status by Verizon Wireless, making it a Wireless Zone franchisee. That means the business can offer improved services, business support, and the ability to get all the latest devices on launch.

The brother and sister team of Verun Gulati & Vaani Gulati own the store that was upgraded from an Authorized Retailer to its current status of Premium Retailer, and continues to serve customers at the same location since 2008.

The One-Stop-Shop can assist customers with:

  • New Service
  • Upgrading Phone
  • Mobile Internet/Tablets
  • New Accessories

  • Customer Service

“Keeping up with the customer demands is the main ingredient of a successful business,” AEDC President Lara Fritts said. “We want to congratulate this business on a job well done.”
