Alligator Seized In Jessup Drug Raid

alligatorOn November 2, 2012, the Western District Tactical Narcotics Team and Tactical Patrol Unit with the assistance of Tactical Officers from the Special Operations Section executed a search and seizure warrant at 7506 Gleneagle Drive in Jessup.

This search and seizure warrant was a result of an investigation into controlled dangerous substance trafficking crimes taking place the residence. Detectives seized approximately 159 grams of kind bud marijuana with an estimated street value of $3,180. Other items seized included drug paraphernalia, $792 in U.S. currency and other unknown substances that have been sent to the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Crime Lab for analysis.

Additionally, a three foot American Alligator was located on the premises. Animal Control was contacted and responded to the residence as a result of private residents not being allowed to possess an alligator in a residence. The American Alligator, preliminarily found to be in good health, was initially transported to Animal Control and was later transported to an appropriate facility for exotic animals.

Suspect: Michael Golden, 32, 7506 Gleneagle Drive, Jessup, Md. Evidence recovered led Special Enforcement Section Gang Unit Detectives to confirm that Bolden is an Associate of the Dead Man Inc. street gang.

Bolden was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Possession of CDS Marijuana. Additional charges are pending related to the other unknown substances recovered at the residence.
