The Capital Gazette is reporting that an elderly woman was attacked by a Pit Bull in Pasadena on Wednesday.  According to the article:

The 89-year-old woman was in her fenced yard in the 200 block of Arundel Road in Pasadena at 3:25 p.m. when the dog approached and bit her in the upper arm, said Battalion Chief Steve Thompson, a spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

The woman’s arm was severely mauled and she was taken by ambulance to the Curtis National Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Thompson said.

Pit Bulls have been involved in several attacks over the past year. You can read some of our coverage here.

Also, APBT’s were breed not to be human aggressive, all the way back four hundred years ago, for the reason that the owners (handler) needed to separate a dog or dogs off of a bull or bear, (during the dog fighting era.) it was to separate two dogs, (if need to) without getting bit. There for, the APBT today has the same traits. They are not breed to be human aggessive, animal aggessive, yes, mainly rodents… These dogs are so misunderstood, they love people, for they hate to be alone, they have to be around family 24/7. No matter what i do, mine have to follow me all threw the house and outside, never out of their site. Once you own a APBT, you will never want another breed, and that is what people don’t understand, they are like babys their entire life, very loveable !!!

I am so sick of hearing about this Crap, how come when it’s a pit bull it’s all over the news. But if it was a lab, you wouldn’t here about it. Pit Bulls are great dogs, this is racism.
