Free Parking In Annapolis

As part of his Economic Development initiative and ongoing efforts to support local business, Mayor Joshua J. Cohen is offering shoppers two hours of free parking in downtown Annapolis through January 1.

“In keeping with an Annapolis holiday tradition, I am pleased to announce that we will again be offering two hours of free parking at metered spaces in the City,” Mayor Josh Cohen said. “The holidays offer a great opportunity to rediscover Annapolis’ many unique shops, restaurants and pubs, and to reconnect with our fellow neighbors.”

Beginning Thursday, November 22, the two hours of free parking is available at all two-hour metered parking spots on Main Street, Francis Street, West Street, Maryland Avenue, Prince George Street, City Dock and Market Space, as well as the Donner lot, adjacent to the former Fawcett’s on Compromise Street.

Please note the two hours of free parking is available only for the two-hour meters. The thirty-minute meters at the base of Main Street will only offer thirty minutes of free parking. Whether the meter has a maximum time of thirty minutes or two hours, drivers must move their vehicle after the allotted time.

Drivers are not allowed to leave their car in one spot all day.

Enjoy the holidays and remember to Shop Local!
