Pedestrian Struck In Brooklyn Park

Anne Arundel County police are confirming that a pedestrian was struck on Route 2 (southbound) near 11th Avenue in Brooklyn Park. Police have preliminarily identified a driver and vehicle involved in the accident but have postponed release of further information until the investigation is more complete.

The police were dispatched at 7:44pm and Southbound Ritchie Highway was closed for several hours. As soon as a report is available, we will update.
