Maryland Spotlights Chesapeake Arts This Month

Sea Glass

Sea GlassAs the weather turns, we’re all looking for creative ways to stay active and interested on the weekends—except it’s now happening indoors versus out.

That’s why the Maryland Office of Tourism is spotlighting the arts of the Chesapeake through November with several great opportunities to get out and experience arts in Maryland:

  • On Nov. 16 and 17th, Queen Anne’s County hosts its Fall Sea Glass Fair at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center. From a guided hunt for sea glass to vendors selling their finds and a boat parade through the Kent Narrows, there’s plenty to see and do.
  • The Rock Hall Museum in Kent County also has a re-created decoy-carving shop stocked with original items used by a Rock Hall master carver.
