Greenstreet Gardens’ Twilight Open House To Benefit Captain Avery Museum

On Friday, November 16th from 6pm-8pm, Greenstreet Gardens hosts their Twilight Open House, an elegant evening of wine, music, and light fare to benefit the Captain Avery Museum in Shady Side. Tickets are $10 per person, with 100% of the proceeds going to the museum. The event features four local wineries and eight local restaurants and caterers offering some of their finest fare.

Greenstreet Gardens then unveils their Christmas presentation on Saturday and Sunday, November 17th and 18th, with their annual Open House Weekend. Featuring events throughout the weekend, including live music, children’s events, and local fundraising efforts by the South County Faith Network and the Salvation Army, this family-friendly event has become a South Country tradition over the past few years. Greenstreet Gardens has been one of the country’s premier retailer and growing garden centers since 2000. The Maryland location is at 391 West Bay Front Road in Lothian, and the newest location, which opened in spring of 2012, is at 1721 West Braddock Road in Alexandria, Virginia.
