Pascal Center To Hold Fall Fest

The Pascal Senior Activity Center will host a Fall Fest with a plant, book, and bake sale, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the center, 125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie. The public is invited to attend.

Proceeds from the sale of fall plants, assorted baked goods, and gently used books will benefit Pascal Seniors Inc. (PSI).  Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, PSI will also sell pink ribbon pins handcrafted by Thelma Gayhardt, pink ribbon socks, and 2013 pink pocket calendars. The public also can donate $1 to purchase a pink paper ribbon in memory of or to honor a friend or loved one. All ribbons will be posted in the center and proceeds will go to promote breast cancer awareness and research.

PSI also will raffle a large ceramic duck wearing a Ravens scarf and have pizza and sodas available for purchase at the snack bar. The Roundhouse Ramblers will provide entertainment from noon to 1:30 p.m.

For information, call the center at 410-222-6680. The center is one of seven senior activity centers operated by the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
