Today is the first day for early voting in Maryland. While you might think the upcoming storm may have been top of mind for most residents, huge crowds showed up to vote. This morning, the line at the Annapolis Boys & Girls Club extended for more than 200 people outside the facility.

Reports from the Severna Park Library also indicate similar lines. Please be prepared for long lines throughout the early voting period and on Election Day.  Additionally, please familiarize yourself with the ballots.

The Anne Arundel County Board of Elections is anticipating close to a 50% turnout for this election.

I just have to say, if AA County Board of Elections thinks 50% turnout for ANY election is good, then they haven’t set the bar very high. What the hell, AMERICANS. It’s your RIGHT to have a say about your COUNTRY. Don’t be ignorant, ugly Americans! Esp women and minorities whose previous generations shed their blood, sweat and tears to fight for our right to vote today. There is no excuse!
