Early Voter Turnout VERY Heavy

Today is the first day for early voting in Maryland. While you might think the upcoming storm may have been top of mind for most residents, huge crowds showed up to vote. This morning, the line at the Annapolis Boys & Girls Club extended for more than 200 people outside the facility.

Reports from the Severna Park Library also indicate similar lines. Please be prepared for long lines throughout the early voting period and on Election Day.  Additionally, please familiarize yourself with the ballots.

The Anne Arundel County Board of Elections is anticipating close to a 50% turnout for this election.
