Kick Off Second Half Of Fall Studies At AACC

Kick off the second half of your fall studies at Anne Arundel Community College by signing up for the eight-week session that begins Oct. 22.

This eight-week session gives you the opportunity to take one or two more classes this fall to help move you closer to completing a degree or certificate. Online, weekend and daytime and evening in-class courses are available. Contact an adviser to find the best courses to fit your program. While enrolling in the Oct. 22 session, don’t forget to register for the winter session that begins Dec. 17.

Enroll in general education courses you need for your degree or certificate program or sign up for a course in your major. If you need help deciding on a major, attend Major Mania from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 18 in the Student Union dining hall or meet with an adviser.

Most students are eligible for some type of financial aid, so be sure to talk to AACC’s financial aid staff to help you put together a financial aid package. Federal financial aid is still available. AACC also has an interest-free tuition payment plan.

New during the Oct. 22 session are additional sections of six computer technologies courses that will be offered at AACC’s new Center for Cyber and Professional Training, 7556 Teague Road, in Hanover near Arundel Mills. These include two sections of “Computing and Information Technology” (CSI 112), three sections of “Theories and Applications of Digital Technology” (CSI 113) and one section each of “Personal Computer Word Processing Applications” (CSI 120), “Microcomputer Operating Systems” (CSI 130), “Networking 1” (CSI 157) and “Ethics and the Information Age” (CSI 194). An additional section of “Personal Computer Spreadsheet Applications” (CSI 124) will be offered online.

Eight-week courses cover the same material and count the same number of credits as a 15-week course. For a complete list of classes and to register, visit www.aacc.edu/register or call 410-777-AACC (2222).
