Hotel Clerk Reports Armed Robbery In Annapolis. Police are investigating an armed robbery at a hotel. Anne Arundel County police said they received a call at about 8 p.m. Friday for a reported armed robbery at the Holiday Inn Express in the 2400 block of Riva Road in Annapolis. Investigators said a man demanded money from the clerk, and he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police Investigate Brooklyn Park Homicide.  Authorities said a man is dead after an assault in Brooklyn Park on Friday. Anne Arundel County police said they were called to the 600 block of Ritchie Highway shortly after 9 p.m. Police said officers found 50-year-old Nick Gilbert Gartelman Sr. in medical distress. He was taken to Harbor Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Person Found Dead In McDonalds Bathroom.  A person was found dead Friday in a bathroom at a fast-food restaurant in Anne Arundel County, police said. County police said officers were called at about 3 p.m. to a McDonald’s restaurant in the 7300 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. Police said they received a call for a sick or injured person, and that nothing was suspicious about the person’s death.

Crofton Man Charged After $4K In Drugs Found In Home. Police in Anne Arundel County said they arrested a man after an investigation led them to a home where thousands of dollars’ worth of drugs and guns were being stored. Police said tactical teams executed a search warrant Thursday at a home in the 1600 block of Airy Hill Court in Crofton and arrested Michael Shepherd, 35.
