A traffic stop was conducted on a gold Chevy Trailblazer before it could leave the premises.  Members of the Western District Tactical Patrol Unit arrived as the stop was made.  A Tactical Patrol Unit member recognized the passenger in the front seat of the vehicle from previous encounters.  He was identified as Thomas Brooks Jr.  Mr. Brooks was arrested when it was determined he had an open arrest warrant for violation of probation.  Additionally, the driver and owner of the Trailblazer, Ms. Lucretia Bosworth, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute more than 13 grams of crack cocaine.

Mr. Brooks was transported to Western District Station where the warrant was served.  He was in possession of over $3,200.00 in cash.  The money was seized for forfeiture as suspected proceeds of drug crimes.  Ms. Bosworth was transported to Western District where she was charged with possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances.
