EDC Crab Feast-September 29th

The Eastport Democratic Club has announced their 2012 Eastport Crab Feast on Saturday, September 29th from 2pm to 9pm (Rain or Shine) at the Eastport Democratic Club, 525 State Street in Annapolis. In conjunction the club, established in 1929, will be celebrating its 83rd anniversary.

Fat male crabs will be served outside under marquee tents with a full supporting menu including: Local Sweet White Corn, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs,  Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Homemade Macaroni ‘n Cheese, Maryland Crab Soup, Watermelon, Anniversary Cake, Draft Beer (with valid I.D.) and more.

Admission includes a Post-Feast Dance Party from 6pm to 9pm with special musical guests Higher Hands, one of the regions premier funk soul fusion bands.

Ticket Prices are:  Adults $40 in advance, $50 at the door; and Kids (11-16) $15, 10 and Under are FREE. Children will be entertained with a selection of outdoor games.

The schedule is as follows:

2pm-5pm            All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feast (outside)   
6pm-9pm            Post-Feast Dance Party, featuring Higher Hands (inside)

This year, a portion of the proceeds of the 2012 Crab Feast will benefit Larry Griffin’s We Care and Friends, a local non-profit organization, established in 1990. We Care and Friends (WeCareAndFriends.org) is dedicated to supporting the building blocks to create strong families and communities in areas affected by drugs, poverty, and crime in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
