On October 15th, Summit will hold its 8th Annual Golf Tournament. The golf tournament is the second largest event of the year for the school. This year’s tournament is sure to please: there will be fun contests (Air Target, longest drive, and closest to the pin) along with door prizes from fantastic, local businesses, a raffle for a get-away to Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA and $10,000 for the golfer lucky enough to make a hole-in-one on hole #12.

Registration is $160 per golfer or $640 per foursome. Over 90 golfers are expected to play at the regional favorite, The Golf Club at South River in Edgewater. The tournament offers golfers the chance to play on this newly private course. Summit’s goal is to match or exceed last year’s attendance. Lunch will be generously donated by The Steakhouse in Edgewater.

Thank you to this year’s tournament Gold Sponsor: Stohlman, Beuchert, Egan & Katula, Chtd. Additional sponsorship opportunities and corporate packages are still available. Please contact Melanie Sipple at Melanie.sipple@thesummitschool.org for more information.

Net proceeds benefit the students and faculty of The Summit School. Summit, a non-profit school, opened its doors in 1989 with a mission of educating children with unique learning styles to their full potential.
