The acclaimed Parker Quartet returns to St. John’s College to perform a program of classical works. The concert, which is free and open to public, will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium on September 21 at 8:15 p.m.

One of the preeminent ensembles of its generation, the Denver Post describes the Parker Quartet as “a formidable force,” and the New York Times applauds their “warm, secure sound and expressive unity.” In 2011, the Parker Quartet won a Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music Performance for their CD entitled “Ligeti: String Quartets Nos. 1 & 2.”
