See England And Get College Credit

Tour London and parts of England in “History of Medieval and Renaissance England,” a two-week travel-study course January 1-15, 2013, through Anne Arundel Community College.

Led by experienced AACC faculty member Margaret Boas, participants will visit such sites as the British Museum, the Tower of London, the Globe Theatre, Warwick Castle, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle.  Throughout the tour, Professor Boas will provide historical information about Medieval and Renaissance England including economic and constitutional foundations of the monarchy, Parliament and the judiciary.

Participants pay $3,205 plus tuition for a three-credit course, which includes airfare, lodging, admission to historic sites and transportation while in London. Meals are not included.

Credit and noncredit options are available.  The registration deadline is September 20 with a $500 non-refundable deposit. The balance is due by November 15.

The travel-study course is co-sponsored by the AACC history department and the Office of Travel Study and Global Engagement, part of the Sarbanes Center for Public and Community Service.
