Human Head Discovered In PasadenaAnne Arundel County police said a partly decomposed human head has been found behind a shopping center in Pasadena. Police spokesman Lt. Michael Brothers told The Baltimore Sun that officers found the head after being called to a wooded area behind Jumpers Hole Road and Ritchie Highway.

Anne Arundel Council Votes To Remove Convicted County Officials. As a result of recent scandals involving elected officials, the Anne Arundel County Council is taking steps to redefine when someone can be removed from office. The Anne Arundel County Council is no stranger to scandal. Last year, Councilman Daryl Jones was sentenced for not filing federal tax returns. This year, County Executive John Leopold was indicted on charges that he misused his security detail for political and personal gain.

Teens Sought In Pasadena Grocery Store Arson. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department is looking for the public’s help in figuring out who intentionally set a fire at a grocery store in Pasadena late last month. Firefighters were called to the blaze at the Food Lion in the 300 block of Mountain Road around 9 p.m. July 27.  (Note: see the three images of the teens here.)

Police: Man ‘Banned’ From Community Arrested For Trespassing. Police said a man banned from a Pasadena community was arrested on trespassing and drug charges. Anne Arundel County police said officers on foot patrol in the Freetown community encountered the man who was on a bicycle at 1:34 a.m. Sunday. The man fled, but officers pursued him and, after a brief struggle, were able to arrest him, police said.
