Eye On Annapolis Upgrades Server

Due to the continued growth of Eye On Annapolis, we have had to buy a larger, more powerful server so we can run faster and jump higher just like when Mom bought new Pro-Keds for the start of school! This should eliminate the service disruptions (crashes) we experienced during traffic peaks. It also should run a lot smoother and faster.

The migration happened yesterday and we only lost one post (the weekly Volunteer Opportunities) and are now back to normal except…..

Our email is being a little bit funky. We are working through the issue with some geeks right now and hope to have it all back together later this afternoon. If you sent us an email, it likely (hopefully) bounced back to you.  Please try to re-send it later this afternoon.  We apologize for the inconvenience, but once all is said and done, your Eye On Annapolis experience will be much better.  In the meantime, you can catch us on twitter!

I do want to give a huge shout out to our local support team at Meridian Design Group who executed this switchover flawlessly. If you are ever in need of virtually any online expertise–please consider giving Tony or PJ a call!  I can’t thank them enough for their advice and expertise.
