Meet Anne Arundel Community College’s new president while celebrating the college’s continued success amid a festive evening of dinner and dancing at the “2012 Gala – Welcome to Our Future” event sponsored by the Anne Arundel Community College Foundation Inc. on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Westin Baltimore Washington Airport – BWI.
The gala offers an opportunity to meet AACC’s sixth president, Dr. Dawn Lindsay, and to discover ways that AACC is working to continue to meet community needs and workforce demands. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., with dinner to be served at 7:15 p.m. followed by a program and dancing to a variety of music.
Proceeds support student scholarships and important academic initiatives. Corporate, family and nonprofit organization sponsorship opportunities are still available. Sponsors receive special entrance to the Presidential VIP pre-reception with an opportunity to meet Dr. Lindsay. Tickets cost $200 and may be ordered online.
