Man Convicted Of Murdering Glen Burnie Dentist Sentenced. Dante Jeter was sentenced Tuesday to serve 30 more years in prison on top of his two life sentences. The punishment stems from the killing of Dr. Albert Ro, Jeter’s cousin’s boss. During her trial, Shontay Joyner-Hickman testified, she thought Ro had caught her stealing so she paid Jeter and another man $1,000 to kill him.

Missing Woman Last Seen In Brooklyn Park.  Anne Arundel County police said they are still looking for a 20-year-old woman who has been missing for more than two months. Detectives continue to ask for the public’s help to find Jessica Lynn Lee who has been missing since May 8. Authorities said officers on May 13 were called to a home on Magie Street in Brooklyn Park for a report of a missing adult.

Victim Punches Would-Be Robber In Face.  Anne Arundel County police said they are looking for a would-be robber. Officers were called to the 400 block of Monterey Avenue in Odenton around 7:08 p.m. Monday to investigate a report of an attempted robbery that happened a short time earlier in the area of Waugh Chapel Road and Strawberry Lake Way.

Cal Ripken Jr.’s Mother Found Safe. Baltimore County police who were searching for the mother of legendary Baltimore Orioles slugger Cal Ripken Jr. said early Wednesday morning that she was found safe. Police said Violet Ripken, 74, of Aberdeen, was last seen driving her silver 1998 Lincoln Towncar in the Ebenezer Road area of Essex around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday. She was reported missing shortly after that.
