Annapolis Drug Bust Nets Drugs, Cash, Guns

Yesterday, Annapolis Police executed a major drug bust netting $17,000 in cash, several hundred grams of illegal narcotics including heroin, cocaine, and marijuana. In addition, police recovered two stolen hand guns.

Simultaneous raids were executed in the Clay Street neighborhood.

At 112 West Washington Street, 143.5 grams of heroin, 2 stolen and  loaded 9mm handguns, and 151 grams of marijuana were seized. Additionally, $17,000 was seized from the home.Cortez Marshall, 19, was arrested with numerous charges and was released after posting bond. The value of the seized contraband was $31,800.

At about the same time, another house at 52 Pleasant Street was also raided. Seized from that residence were 6.5 grams of cocaine. Arrested, was Robert Taylor, 44, who was charged accordingly. He remains in custody.
