You still have time to sign up for fall classes at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC). Classes for the 15-week session and the first eight-week session begin Aug. 27 at the Arnold campus, the Glen Burnie Town Center and Arundel Mills.
Classes are available in all general education courses, so register now to get the days and times that work best for your schedule. Courses that are prerequisites for many degree programs, such as science lab courses, fill up quickly, so enrolling now gives you more flexibility in obtaining the classes you need. AACC offers daytime, evening, weekend and online options.
New programs beginning this fall include degrees and certificates in Cyber Forensics, Internet Applications Development and Mobile Device Application Development, a degree in Creative Writing and certificates in Business Management Social Entrepreneurship Option, Human Services Veterans Counseling Option and Patient Care Technician/Geriatric Nursing Assistant. For a list of all programs, visit www.aacc.edu/areasofstudy
If you need help developing educational goals, academic advisers are available at the Arnold campus, AACC at Arundel Mills, GBTC and the Army Education Center at Fort Meade. If you already have an academic plan, advisers can help you find the best courses to complete your certificate or degree program.
To pay, take advantage of AACC’s no-fee, interest-free payment plan that allows you to pay only 20 percent of the fall term if you register before Aug. 27. Talk to AACC’s financial aid staff to help you put together a financial aid package. Federal financial aid is still available.
