Flight Attendant Falls Ill On Flight To BWI. A flight attendant fell ill Thursday afternoon aboard a plane headed to Maryland, prompting hazardous materials crews to investigate the air aboard the aircraft. Southwest Flight 709 took off from Norfolk, Va., shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday and landed at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport shortly before 4:30 p.m. without incident.

Online Ads Lead To Prostitution Arrest.  An online advertisement led Anne Arundel County police to make a prostitution arrest. It happened at 11:30 a.m. on July 9. Authorities arrested 25-year-old Ashley Grumm, of Philadelphia, and charged her with prostitution, assignation, setting up a house of prostitution and possession of marijuana.

Man Shot, Killed, By Baltimore County Officer. Baltimore County police are investigating a fatal shooting involving one of their own late Thursday night. County police said the shooting happened as officers served a warrant at about 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Highmeadow Road in Reisterstown. Police said a man attacked them with a weapon during the operation, so an officer shot him.

Teenager Found Floating In Pool. A 15-year-old swimmer found floating in a Cockeysville pool was hospitalized Thursday afternoon. Baltimore County police said 911 operators received a call just before 3 p.m. reporting a boy who had been swimming the length of the pool at the Saddlebrook Apartments in the 300 block of Foxfire Place.
