Baysox Host German Bierstube Dinner

The Bowie Baysox have announced a German Bierstube Beer Dinner at Prince George’s Stadium, Thursday, July 19, as the Baysox take on the Binghamton Mets at 7:05 p.m. The event includes a two-hour buffet and three-hour open bar in the climate-controlled Diamond View restaurant.

Baysox Group Events Manager Jeff Gibbons is excited for this dinner. “This is the beer dinner that everyone really looks forward to,” Gibbons said. “For one night only, the Diamond View restaurant will be transformed into a German Bierstube where fans can enjoy great German beer and themed food.”

Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. and food is served from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  The buffet includes tossed mixed greens, Spaten Lager steamed shrimp, roasted pork loin, salmon Curran, mock braten, Pilsner braised brats & onions, roasted mixed summer vegetables, warm German potato salad and apple strudel crunch.  Beer is served from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., including Spaten Oktoberfest on draft, Spaten Lager, Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse, Spaten Optimator, Spaten Munich Dunkel and Franziskaner Dunkel Weiss.

Tickets for the Island Breeze Beer Dinner are $44, or $39 for Baysox ticket plan holders.  To ensure there is enough food for everyone, tickets must be ordered by 3 p.m. Monday, July 16.  For more information or to order tickets, fans may call Jeff at (301) 464-4881.
