Chef Zachary Pope, owner of Roundz Gourmet Market, thrives in the creative environment of fresh ingredients, a gourmet kitchen and diners willing to immerse in a full-sensory approach to cuisine. The new Chef’s Table at Roundz was created for just that experience.
Each Thursday in July at Roundz Gourmet Market (2299 Johns Hopkins Road, Gambrills), Chef Pope will entertain one table of diners for a four-course meal inspired by what is fresh and exciting that day. Here’s how it works: Chef’s Table is available at 6:30 PM on Thursday July 5, 12, 19 and 26. Only one table is available each Thursday for a party of 2 up to a party of 14, at $50 per person.
Chef’s Table guests will be seated in full view of the exhibition kitchen. Chef will greet guests and open a dialog to gauge interests and dietary requirements. From that discussion, Chef will create a menu uniquely suited for the table. Appetizer, soup/salad, entrée and dessert…each item will be the creative expression of Chef Pope, named Best Chef in 2011 and 2012 by the Capital Gazette Reader’s Choice Poll.
