Living Well Workshops Scheduled

Seal of Anne Arundel County, MarylandDo you suffer from a chronic condition such as diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic pain or anxiety? If so, the Living Well with Chronic Conditions Workshops can help you to take control of your life again.

You can get the support you need from this Stanford University program taught by the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities. Learn how to deal with pain and fatigue and how to make better nutrition and exercise choices. You also can learn how to communicate more effectively with your physician and to try new techniques to deal with stress.

This free 2-1/2 hour Chronic Disease Workshop will be held once a week for six weeks. The class is open to all adults with chronic conditions as well as caregivers. Space is limited to 20 per class.

The schedule is on Tuesdays, June 19 and 26 and July 10, 17, 24, and 31, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Health Sciences Pavilion, Anne ArundelMedical Center, 2000 Medical Parkway, and on Thursdays, June 21 and 28 and July 12, 19 and 26 and Aug. 2 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Sajak Pavilion at the hospital.
