Annapolis Police Seek Public Help In Solving Recent Sexual Assault

The Annapolis Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit is releasing photos and video of a man seen in the area of the sexual assault that occurred on May 19 in the 100 block of Duke of Gloucester Street.

On May 19 at 1:30am a 21 year old female was walking home when she noticed an unknown male subject walking behind her. The male subject grabbed her and pulled her into an alley way. The female was thrown to the ground and sexually assaulted. She was able to fight off the attacker who fled the area on foot.
These photos and the video show a person of interest in the area at the time of the attack. We are seeking assistance from the public in his identification. Please contact the police if you believe you may know this man. Anyone with information about this man or the incident is asked to contact Det.
