Boot Stompin’ Fun Planned For Food Link’s Blue Jean Bash

Boot stompin’ fun is set for  May 12th 2012 from 7pm-11pm, as Food Link celebrates over 20 years of service helping our neighbors in need. The event will be held at the Red Barn in Harness Creek, a private home of a Food Link supporter and all proceeds from the event will be donated to Food Link, Inc. The event is open to the public and will be held Rain or Shine.

Guests can expect BBQ prepared by Famous Dave’s Catering Annapolis, Fordham Beer, live Music, a silent and live auction. The fun will also include a photo booth, a wine wheel and a beautiful sunset overlooking the South River is guaranteed.

New this year to the Bash, Food Link will be honoring their 2012 Hunger for Heroes – Tom O’Leary, owner of Chevy’s Fresh Mex as philanthropist of the year, Whole Foods Annapolis as Corporate Philanthropist of the Year and “Crabby” Joe Crabby – Volunteer of the Year, who has delivered over a million pounds of food and racked up over half a million miles.

Jeans, boots and cowboy hats are the encouraged attire for the BLUE JEAN BASH.  Parking and shuttle will be available at Annapolis Middle School at the second Spa Rd entrance by the tennis courts.

The continued success of Food Link is depends solely on the support of individuals, community groups, businesses and civic organization and the success of the BLUE JEAN BASH.
