Sexual Assault Reported In Annapolis

A 21-year old woman was sexually assaulted early Saturday morning along Duke of Gloucester Street in Annapolis. According to the Annapolis Polie Department, the woman was walking along Duke of Gloucester Street near Church Circle at 1:30am when she was accosted.

An unknown male subject grabbed her and pulled her into an alley way where the victim was thrown to the ground and sexually assaulted. The victim was able to fight off the attacker who fled the area on foot.

Police are still investigating.
