The Bowie Baysox have announced the inaugural Zumba® Fitness Fest at Prince George’s Stadium, Sunday, June 3, following the game as the Baysox take on the Reading Phillies at 2:05 p.m. After enjoying the Baysox baseball game, fans who purchase the special ticket package will have the chance to participate in a Zumba® Fitness class at the stadium.

Baysox Assistant General Manager Phil Wrye helped organize this event. “Zumba® Fitness is the hottest thing is the fitness industry right now and we are excited to be bringing it to the stadium,” Wrye said. “We are lucky that our PA Announcer Adrienne is also a Zumba® Fitness instructor and has agreed to lead a class that everyone is sure to enjoy after a fun day of baseball.”

Zumba® Fitness instructor and Baysox PA announcer Adrienne Roberson, along with other licensed guest instructors will lead the class. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or this is your first time taking a class, you and your friends and family will have fun taking part in an interactive fitness class after the game. The class is open to individuals of all ages. The exercise routine combines Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system.

Tickets for the fitness fest are $18 and can be ordered by visiting www.baysoxshop.com. The ticket package includes a Box Seat ticket for the game, a Zumba® Fitness wristband and admission to the postgame workout session with a portion of each ticket sold being donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The Baysox are celebrating Pink in the Park night Saturday, June 2.
