The Bowie Baysox announce today a Girl Scout Lock-In at Prince George’s Stadium Friday, June 1, as the team takes on the Reading Phillies at 7:05 p.m.  The lock-in features discounted tickets for scouts and their parents, games and activities on the concourse and the option to camp out in the outfield.

Scouts and their parents can purchase box seat tickets for $10 (regularly $15) or reserved seat tickets for $7 (regularly $10 for youth or $12 for adults).  The team is also offering discounted food vouchers for the event.

Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers planned the event.  “We know not every girl who comes out is a baseball fan, so the unique activities after the game and camping out on the field really make it fun for everyone,” Rogers said.  “We always feature a unique participation patch and are ecstatic to see hundreds of local girls make it out each season.”

Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. and participants will be recognized with a special pre-game parade at 6:15 p.m.  After the game, the team will set up separate stations for dance lessons, arts and crafts and other activities.

For more information or to order discounted tickets and food vouchers, fans can contact Chris Rogers at (301) 464-4813 or crogers@baysox.com, or visit www.baysoxshop.com.  Tent space is limited and must be reserved in advance.
