Whole Foods To Offer Full Service Catering

Whole Foods Market

The Whole Foods Market of Annapolis is inaugurating Full Service Catering at its location at 200 Harker Place in Annapolis Towne Center in Annapolis.

Whole Foods is celebrating this expansion of its catering service with a gala evening at the market Friday, Apr. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m.

To the sounds of live music, participants will be treated to butlered hors d’oeuvres and an array of exquisite foods from around the world – and around the Chesapeake.

“The Annapolis Whole Foods Market is the first Whole Foods in the Mid-Atlantic Region to debut Full Service Catering,” said the market’s Culinary Specialist Frances Vavloukis Chumley. “We can now provide everything needed to make an event a savory success. We’ve been able to create the wedding cake and special dishes every bride dreams of having at her wedding, or the dishes and desserts need to make a business conference a memorable event. Now we can provide the flowers, china, glassware, cutlery, linens, tables and chairs, too. We hope to be the first place wedding and event planners look to when creating a top-notch party or banquet.”

At Whole Foods, Chumley noted, “We use fresh herbs, grain-fed meats and nothing artificial. Our catered foods are made to the high standards you find throughout our store, nothing less will do. Our chefs use the choicest ingredients and the season’s finest produce, much of it locally sourced, so our catering clients receive both beautiful displays and great tasting food. Whether the order is for a vegetable or cheese tray for a business meeting, bagged lunches for a club’s field trip, signature sandwiches for a choir practice, an over-the-top tailgate presentation, or a spectacular sit-down dinner for a bridal couple and their guests, all of our catering selections are made fresh, right in our kitchens.”

“Whether we are serving ten people or 500; a formal event or a casual gathering, your satisfaction is important to Whole Foods Market Annapolis,” Chumley said.

The evening on April 20 is intended primarily for members of the media, wedding and event planners, and bridal couples-to-be, but the event is open to the public. Admission is free.
