Iraqi Leaders Stop For Lunch With Students In Brooklyn Park.  A delegation of educational and government leaders from Iraq visited Anne Arundel County this week to inspect the school system’s nutrition program in an effort to improve the lives of Iraqi children. Seventh-grade students at Brooklyn Park Middle School shared a lunchtime conversation Thursday with visitors from Iraq, who arrived as part of a mission with the Global Child Nutrition Foundation.

Underwear Thief Sought In AnnapolisAnnapolis police are looking for a thief who made off with $650 worth of Victoria’s Secret lingerie. Police said the person broke into a woman’s apartment in the 1100 block of Madison Street on Monday morning and stole a basket full of lingerie, two cellphones and $400 in cash. There’s no word yet on a description of the thief.

There’s A Summer Camp For Every Child. When you think of summer camp, you might think sports or arts and crafts, but there are now camps for just about all interests. This month’s issue of Baltimore’s Child Magazine calls it a patchwork summer for campers. “If the kids are interested in animals, there’s a camp for that. If the kid’s interested in cooking, there’s a camp for that. If they want to play a special position in a sport, there’s a camp for that,” said James Giza, the magazine’s associate editor.
