3 Stabbed At Solomons Island Elks Lodge Party.A party at an Elks Lodge sent three men to the hospital, according to Anne Arundel County police. Police got the call at about 1 a. m. Sunday morning. When they arrived at the Elks Lodge at 2517 Solomons Island Road, they found three men who had been stabbed. (NOTE: Eye On Annapolis reported on this story Sunday)

TB Case Discovered At Arnold School.  The Anne Arundel County Health Department is investigating a case of tuberculosis at a school in Arnold, 11 News has confirmed. Officials at the Chesapeake Academy, a private school in Arnold, confirmed Saturday that an employee was diagnosed with the disease. The Health Department said the county deputy health officer would hold a meeting about tuberculosis at the academy Saturday at 1 p.m.

Ex-Teacher  Sentenced For Sex With Students. A former Anne Arundel County high school teacher is going to prison. On Friday, an Anne Arundel County Circuit Court judge sentenced Jeffrey Sears to 20 years in prison with all but seven years suspended, in addition to five years of probation thereafter. Authorities said the former Glen Burnie High School teacher had sex with three students while on the job both on and off school grounds between November 2009 and October 2011.

Secret Service Agent Embroiled In Sex Scandal From Severna Park. A Secret Service agent embroiled in the Colombia prostitution scandal lives in Anne Arundel County, NBC News and CNN are reporting. The networks reported Friday that the agent lives in Severna Park. Sources with knowledge of the investigation in contact with CNN identified the agent as Arthur Huntington. WBAL-TV 11 News found local land records that indicate a man with the same name listed on property in Severna Park; however, it was not immediately known whether that man is indeed the agent in question.
