The Anne Arundel County Fire Department has partnered with Anne Arundel Medical Center, the Annapolis Fire Department, Starbucks Coffee, and Whole Foods Markets to sponsor Save a Life: Annapolis CPR Day.  The event will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 3p.m at the Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Health Sciences Pavilion (2000 Medical Parkway in Annapolis).  Heart attacks are the leading cause of death in the County and this is an excellent chance for people to get involved to learn how to assist a neighbor or friend in a critical time of need. Caridio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is Key to saving lives and knowing CPR can help you act quickly in the event of an emergency.  The event is free and includes instruction on:
·         Adult CPR
·         Pediatric and Infant CPR
·         Pool and Summer Safety
·         General Health Information
·         Activities and Family Fun

You can register for the event on line at www.savealifeannapolis.com   Walk-ins during the event are also welcome.  Please join us as we take a stand to become a City of Heroes.  Walk in a citizen and walk out a hero…
