Patapsco River Contaminated By Sewer Line Break. The Anne Arundel County Department of Health is warning residents to stay out of the Patapsco River anywhere downstream of Annapolis Road.Officials said a sewer force main break at an area pumping station caused more than 17 million gallons of sewage to spill into the river.Anyone who comes into contact with the water is advised to wash well with warm water and soap immediately, and do the same with any contaminated clothing.

Man Charged In Howard County High School Fight. Howard County police have charged a man in connection with an assault on a school student that was captured on videotape last week and eventually went viral online. The incident occurred outside of Long Reach High School in Columbia on Wednesday as the school was dismissing for the day

Man Charged In 5-Month-Old Son’s Death.Baltimore police have arrested and charged a young man in connection with the death of his infant son.Police said officers were called on Jan. 30 to the 3000 block of Baker Street for a child who was not breathing.
