Missing Boy Found In Reno, Nevada. Maryland State Police have canceled an Amber Alert for a 9-year-old boy last seen in Prince George’s County.Police issued the alert shortly before 8:30 p.m. Thursday for Wilbert Caceres Garcia, 9, a boy who authorities said was abducted by his mother, Silvia Garcia. The two were reportedly found early Friday morning at a Reno, Nevada, airport. The boy was unharmed.

Amish Rally In Support Of Maryland Midwifery Bill. Members of Maryland’s Amish community and others rallied Thursday in support of a bill that would change current state law requiring a mid-wife to also be a registered nurse.A bill under consideration in Annapolis — House Bill 1056– would recognize certified professional midwives to legally practice in Maryland.Dozens of people from Amish communities in southern Maryland converged on Lawyer’s Mall.

2nd Man Enters Plea In Fatal Brooklyn Park Shooting. A second man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the robbery and shooting of a man in Brooklyn Park.Rodney R. Barnwell, 23, entered the plea Wednesday in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. As part of a plea agreement, Barnwell will be sentenced to 60 years in prison on May 30.
