Man Charged In Fatal Anne Arundel Crash. Authorities have charged an Anne Arundel County man in connection with a fatal crash in November.Prosecutors said Zachary Adam Covington, 25, of Pasadena, was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic on Route 100 near Quarterfield Road on Nov. 28, when he struck a pickup truck and a car that overturned. Covington was officially charged Wednesday, and he was arrested over the weekend.

Dixon Trial Judge To Preside Over Leopold Case. A familiar name among Maryland’s judges will oversee the misconduct case against Anne Arundel County Executive John Leopold.Judge Dennis Sweeney has been assigned the case. Sweeney is the judge who presided over the theft trial of former Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon in 2009.

Police Still Seek Help In Finding Missing Anne Arundel Man. Anne Arundel County police are still looking for help in the search for a 42-year-old man who has been missing for about three weeks.Benjamin Sagun Jr., was last seen leaving for church on Feb. 26, according to family members. Members of the church on Ridgely Avenue in Annapolis said Sagun never arrived.Family members told police they are concerned about his safety.Sagun is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds, police said.

Man Sought In Glen Burnie Home Invasion Of Woman, 80. Anne Arundel County police are searching for a man who they said forced his way inside an 80-year-old woman’s apartment and robbed her.The incident happened about 1 p.m. Saturday at an apartment in the 100 block of Crain Highway North in Glen Burnie.The victim told police that she opened her door after hearing a knock, and a man assaulted her and forced his way inside.She said the man went through her purse and took money before running away.
