Cooke Grant Allows Disadvantages Youth To Attend Global Studies Program

The summer program, which is run in conjunction with the Maryland State Department of Education, allows students to take advantage of rigorous, hands-on World Language opportunities. The two-week program allows students to explore Arabic and Chinese.
Under Cooke Foundation’s Expanding Summer Academic Enrichment Programs Grant, AACPS will receive $15,443 a year for three years. The grant is one of eight awarded throughout the United States.
