Man With Fake Genitals Arrested In Community College Case

In one of the more bizarre incidents to come from the Anne Arundel County Police Department, we offer the following:

Between February 16, 2012, and February 22, 2012, the Anne Arundel Community College Department of Public Safety and Anne Arundel County Police Department received several complaints of indecent exposure incidents taking place on the College’s Main Campus located in the 100 block of College Parkway in Arnold.

In these incidents, female victims reported a male suspect in a silver vehicle exposing himself to them at various locations at or near the College. During a joint investigation conducted by College Public Safety Officers and members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department, a potential suspect was identified. On March 2, 2012, officers located the suspect acting suspicious in the College parking lot. The suspect was found to be operating a 2009 Silver Honda Accord and was in possession of fake genitalia.

During a subsequent interview by detectives, it was learned that the suspect simulated indecent exposure with a display of fake genitalia to women on several occasions at the College. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with three counts of Indecent Exposure and two counts of Disorderly Conduct.

Suspect: Jacob Lee Bovia, 28, of 989 Vanburen Street, Annapolis, Md
