AACC To Celebrate Women

March is the month that Anne Arundel Community College will celebrate women!  Below are some of the events planned throughout the month.

Feb. 29 – 2 p.m. Performance “Nothin’ But the Truth,” one-woman show of music, poetry and speech excerpts written by and for women performed by AACC student Terra Green in connection with the college celebrations of February as Black History Month and March as Women’s History Month; Humanities Building Room 112, AACC Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway; free; 410-777-1955 or [email protected]; www.aacc.edu

March 1 – 2-3:15 p.m. Presentation “Perspectives of a Blind Latino Woman: What to Do When Life Hands You Lemons and Hides the Pitcher,” Maria E. March 6 — 3-4:30 p.m. Women’s History Month event,3rd Annual Art of Women,” features art gallery opening reception 3-3:25 p.m., artist panel discussion 3:30-4 p.m., AACC Dance Company performance 4:10-4:20 p.m. and closing reception; begins in Pascal Center for Performing Arts Gallery and moves to Robert E.
