Car Crashes Into Davidsonville Home. Fire officials in Anne Arundel County are trying to figure out what caused a driver to lose control and crash into a home early Thursday morning.Rescue crews were called about 1 a.m. to a home in the 600 block of Central Avenue West in Davidsonville to find a car inside a one-story single-family home.

Man, 25, Dies From Injuries At Arundel Wrestling SchoolAnne Arundel County police said a man died from injuries he suffered at a professional wrestling academy.Quentin V. Jackson, 25, of District Heights, died Jan. 20, police said in a news release issued Wednesday. Investigators said Jackson was hurt Jan. 19 at Gillberg’s Pro Wrestling Academy on Sandy Farm Road in Severn. He was taken to Shock Trauma.Detectives said they conducted several interviews with witnesses.

Students To Take Part In Frigid Friday Polar Bear PlungeIf you see large numbers of high school students racing into the chilly Chesapeake Friday, it’s not a prank.For the third year, students will participate in Frigid Friday to raise funds for the Special Olympics. Saturday, thousands of others will follow suit in the Polar Bear Plunge. Maryland Special Olympics started Frigid Friday to get more students involved, said 11 News Education reporter Tim Tooten.It worked. More than 1,500 teens took the plunge in 2011. Their numbers are expected to double this year.

Pagano Leaves Ravens To Coach Colts. The Indianapolis Colts hired Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano as their new head coach on Wednesday.The team said Pagano will be introduced at a news conference on Thursday. It will be the first head coaching job for the 51-year-old Pagano, who has been a career assistant until now with stops in Oakland and Cleveland in the NFL and stints at schools including Miami and North Carolina.
