Local Chef To Host A Night Of Haute Cuisine

Award-winning local chef Zachary Pope will host a dining event featuring a full-sensory approach to high-end cuisine on Saturday, January 28, at 7:30 PM, at Roundz Gourmet Market (2299 Johns Hopkins Road, Gambrills).

“A true culinary experience is as much about the taste as it is the sight, aroma, texture and sound,” said Chef Pope, owner of Roundz Gourmet Market.  “Food should be savored completely from preparation to table.  This night will be a chance to immerse in the joys of fine dining, ask questions of the chef and come away with an experience to remember.”

This reservation-only dinner is an opportunity for diners to enjoy a small-plate, tasting-style menu of choice meats, seafood and an eclectic mix of haute cuisine. From prime seating near the exhibition kitchen, diners can interact with Chef Pope and staff as food is prepared and plated.

Seating for Roundz After Dark is $80 per person with a $20 deposit to guarantee placement.  Reservations can be made by calling 443.292.4631, emailing [email protected] or stopping by Roundz Gourmet Market Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Roundz has catered events in the Maryland-Virginia-DC area since 2004.  Owner Chef Zachary Pope opened the storefront Roundz Gourmet Market & Catering in Gambrills in November 2011.  Roundz received the 2012 Bride’s Choice Award from Wedding Wire and is one of the top catering businesses in the region.
