Fatal Accident In Pasadena Claims Life Of Popuar Facebook Page Founder

One of the founders of the popular Anne Arundel County Breaking News And Events facebook page was killed in a head on collision early this morning in Pasadena.

We spoke with co-founder John Williams this morning who told us the accident occurred just after midnight. Brian D. McDevitt, 32, was traveling on Ft. Smallwood Road in front of Compass Pointe Golf Course when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a BMW head on and continued traveling into the woods. The two occupants of the BMW were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The police department has not released any further details of the incident at this time.

McDevitt was a custodian at Severna Park High School for more than ten years.

Anne Arundel County Breaking News & Events was a facebook page established about a year ago to inform residents of police and fire activity in the County. Due to their popularity, just last week, they launched a new website by the same name.
