Broadneck Teen Attacked; Flown To Shock Trauma

UPDATE: From Pam Wood, reporter at The Capital’s twitter feed (follow her, she is good), , they have confirmed that the teen was 18 years old. Initial reports indicated that he was 15.

UPDATE:  The Broadneck Patch is reporting that the teen is in shock-trauma with life threatening injuries. According to Patch, the Anne Arundel County Public Schools have said that they are working with authorities on the situation, but that the assault did not happen on school property.

Anne Arundel County Fire and EMS crews are treating a 15-year old assault victim in Cape St. Claire. Shortly after Broadneck High School dismissal, the teen was assaulted near 931 Blue Ridge Drive.

A Maryland State Police helicopter was called in to transport the student to the Shock-Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious head injuries. Police have not released any details of the assault.
