Annapolis Police Seek Help With Indecent Exposure Cases

On December 28, 2011 at 6 p.m. Annapolis police officers were dispatched to the CVS at 503 South Cherry Grove Avenue for report of an indecent exposure. The adult female victim reported that as she was shopping she noticed a man following her into each of the shopping aisles. The man approached her and when the victim looked down she saw that he was exposing his genitals. The man is described as an African American male, mid 20s to late 30s, 5’9”, 200 lbs, slight beard, last seen wearing a black knit hat, red button up shirt, tan jacket with fur trimmed hood, and jeans.

On January 2, 2012 at 9:29 a.m. Annapolis police officers were dispatched to the Safeway at 1781 Forest Drive for a report of an indecent exposure. The adult female victim reported that as she was shopping in the store she noticed a man following her. The man approached her outside the business and then pulled down his pants, exposing his genitals. The man is described as an African American male, 5’10” to 6’0”, 180 to 200 lbs, last seen wearing a black knit hat, black jacket, and navy blue sweat pants with teal blue drawstrings and teal blue trim around the bottom cuff.

Officers are investigating both indecent exposures. It is unknown if they are related at this time.
