911 Tapes Released In Quadruple Fatal Crash.  Maryland State Police are relying on eyewitnesses, 911 tapes and autopsy results to help sort out a quadruple fatal car crash that occurred over the weekend. Investigators said a car with three teens traveled in the wrong direction for miles on Route 50 before crashing head-on into a BMW. The crash occurred early Saturday.11 News reporter David Collins said Monday that motorists spotting the car lit up 911 emergency phone lines.”It’s westbound 50 and 424,” an Anne Arundel County dispatcher said during one call. “This car is going the wrong way. It’s fully engulfed, and it’s a fatal.”

Plane Overshoots BWI RunwayA Gulfstream jet with two passengers overshot the runway at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and landed in the grass Monday evening.The incident occurred at about 6:45 p.m.No one was hurt, according to officials.There will be no impact to travel at the airport.

Police Continue Probe Into Beating Near Broadneck School. Anne Arundel County officials are still trying to figure out what started a fight that severely injured an 18-year-old on Friday.The teen, who hasn’t been identified yet, was flown to Shock Trauma after the incident. Officials said Monday that he’s still in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Investigators said the teen and a 15-year-old got into a fight Friday afternoon near Broadneck High School in Cape. St. Claire just after the school dismissed students.Police said the teens knew each other and that the 18-year-old was a former student at Broadneck.

Protesters Rally Against Gay Marriage Bill.  Busloads of gay marriage protesters gathered in front of the State House on Monday night to make their voices heard a day before a Senate subcommittee is set to introduce the issue of recognizing gay marriage in Maryland.The Maryland Marriage Alliance, a statewide group of religious leaders, assembled about 200 people Monday to rally against the Civil Marriage Protection Act.”He means what he says and he says what he means. God said marriage is between a man and a woman, and that’s the way it should be,” said protester Rose Najmy.
