When you surf over to Eye On Annapolis tomorrow, something will be amiss. The information you have come to depend upon will not be available. We are going dark.
In a show of support against SOPA and PIPA, we will be darkening the site and adding our very small voice to the larger message that we are against the web censorship bills that are now currently making their way through congress.
We are not alone, millions of sites will be dark tomorrow from 8am to 8pm (local time) including some giants like Wikipedia, Reditt, WordPress, Google (limited), TwitPic, the icanhazcheezeburger network sites, and many more.
At 8:00pm, the site will be back up and running. Should there be any breaking news, we will break our darkness. However, make sure you follow us on Twitter–we will be tweeting all day long!
