The driver of the Toyota, Pamela Dittmar and a passenger from the Ford Focus  were taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center where they were treated and released with minor injuries.  The driver of the Ford Focus, a 16 year old juvenile was uninjured in the crash.  The driver and sole occupant of the 1991 Honda Accord, Charmaine Richardson was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma with critical injuries.

Preliminary investigation suggests that alcohol was not a factor in this crash although it is yet to be determined if speed or aggressive driving are factors.  The investigation is still ongoing.
